Nanis Sojee Recipe – An Indian Sweet Dish

Need:
125 g pure butter
1 Egg
2 cups semolina
Half tsp cinammon powder
1 heaped tsp elaichi powder
1 cup sugar
hanful of chopped almonds
Sultanas or raisins (optional)
Egg yellow colouring (optional)
Milk

Method:
-Mix together egg,semolina,sugar,cinammon,elaichi,add enough milk to make a weak mixture (similar to a porridge texture),whisk together
-melt butter on high in a pot,wen melted drop in the mixture and continue to stir until the milk dries up,turn the heat onto low.
-When a soft wet texture is acquired,put in the almonds and raisins,mix well,add a small blob of butter to it if its too dry.Move off heat.

Serving Suggestion:
-Pour Nestle Cream over when serving and sprinkle slivered almonds or coconut over.
-Enjoy both warm or cold πŸ˜‰
